Food is great. Ambiance.. good. Waitstaff good. Menu options and ingredients used are both excellent

Very good Greek food, a bit pricey, but huge portions! The only not great thing were the falafel which were a bit mushy/soggy. Other than that everything was awesome! The gyro meat was super tender and flavorful. The pita sandwich was huge and full of toppings and meat. The fries had a bunch of feta on them. The Greek nachos were super good with crispy pita chips and lots of toppings. The dip platter was lovely with super fluffy and thick pita and the fiery feta and spicy avocado dips were very very tasty.

I can't wait to come back to Opa!!! We were walking by on a nice day and saw that there were open tables, so we decided to stop in, and I am so glad we did! Everything we ate was incredible, especially the lemon chicken orzo and the Opa fries. I'll be back just for those two alone! On top of the amazing food, the staff was very friendly and the general manager went out of his way to welcome us. I'm already looking forward to my next meal here!

On a whim I decided to get takeout from Opa. This turned out to be a really good choice! First, the service here is fantastic. I met the new manager, Steven, who welcomed me in, offered me a seat, water and a menu. I had already ordered online, so I just needed a chair in a warm spot to wait. One of the servers also came over to check on me and offered water while I waited. I didn't think I'd be there long, so said no. Then the bartender walked over and served me a water. I mean, they were not going to have me waiting without a drink in hand. Typical Greek culture. Everyone was so incredibly kind. I had forgotten how nice the ambience is here. Would be great for date night, a nice family dinner or a meal out with friends. I enjoyed watching the video of the landscape in Greece playing on the wall near the bar. They also had sports on at the bar, which would make a more upscale venue to partake in food and drink while watching your favorite team. Now for the food...Opa!! Grilled solomos - salmon over mashed potatoes and veggies. My son loved it. Perfectly cooked and a healthy dish. Seafood souvlaki- shrimp and scallops grilled to perfection. This was the dish everyone tried to get a piece of when I got home. Nice big shrimp and scallops on the skewers. None of those bay sizes. Brick roasted kotopoulo- the specialty chicken. Yum! This dish was enough for two. Tender and the marinade has some tang. Greek Roman flatbread- this was tasty and would be the perfect dish for a hot day. The tzatziki base spread is a nice touch. Chicken souvlaki- beautiful, but we didn't get to these with so much other food. Looking forward to eating them tomorrow. We also had the avocado dip (spicy with a nice kick) and tzatziki dip, both with fresh baked pita bread. Greek green salad- lightly dressed and a refreshing starter. So pleased with every dish we ordered. It wasn't too busy while I was there waiting, but the staff appeared to be really attentive to all the patrons, which was great to see. I'm looking forward to returning again soon.

Awesome place. Happy hour is great Service - prompt and efficient with a smile Parking - tough for downtown. Best to use the Peking garage on Locust and Civic Food - everything was delicious especially the loaded fries with gyro meat Definitely in the rotation!

Delicious food and excellent service! My friends and I threw a surprise going away lunch for my cousin this weekend at Opa. The service exceeded expectations - we participated in bottomless mimosas and the service was refilling our drinks often and offering us different varieties as well! He was super entertaining and hilarious! All of our food came out correctly and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The food was delicious and generous portions. Can't wait to come back!

Been coming here on and off for years. Opa is reliable although it can be on the pricier side. Kebabs and gyro are tasty. Rice could use more salt/seasoning. Lemon chicken soup had a good strong lemon and olive oil flavor. Not very hearty though, mostly liquidy
